TAKE CARE OF YOUR HAIR AND IT WILL TAKE CARE OF YOU!!!
- Comb your Virgin hair with a wide tooth comb to remove any tangles before washing. Gently comb your hair from the ends towards your scalp. Starting from the ends keeps the pressure off the weft area and is a good way to maintain the longevity of the extensions.
- Co-wash your hair before install with sulfate free conditioners. DO NOT use hot water to rinse your hair instead use lukewarm water. It is recommended to use products that are alcohol-free and do not contain other harmful components.
- Treat this hair like your own hair. Use good quality shampoo and conditioning products. Conditioning your hair is very important to keep it soft and manageable. We recommend conditioning your virgin hair at least once per week. Conditioning will help keep your hair moisturized. Do not apply any kind of grease products to your weave. This will only weigh down the weave and cause potential tangling.
- NEVER sleep on wet hair. Sleeping on wet hair is known to matte the hair. Rolling, twisting, or wrapping your hair at night will limit the amount of heat you will have to use on your hair daily. Always sleep with a satin cap. Use a professional colorist when coloring your hair. DO NOT CUT THE WEFT, this can lead to shedding!!!!
LOOSE WAVE, DEEP WAVE, CURLY -
When curls begin to look frizzy or dry spray with just water to calm down the hair. For hair that is more frizzy or beginning to mat, the use of a good quality CURL ACTIVATOR ma be required. Part the hair in sections, use a wide tooth comb to comb out any tangles starting at the ends working your way up, spray hair with water, add a small amount CURL ACTIVATOR, use an absorbent hair towel to cut down on dry time, allow hair to air dry. Repeat steps for each section. DO NOT COMB/FINGER COMB UNTIL HAIR IS COMPLETELY DRY!!!!
We lock in moisture while hair is damp spray a small amount of light weight polishing mist or on dry hair if the hair begins to lose it's shine or look dull, use a light polishing mist.
For washing, it is recommended to use products that are ALCOHOL-FREE and DO NOT CONTAIN HARMFUL COMPONENTS. Shampoo and wash gently with lukewarm water. After rinsing, allow the hair to AIR DRY. Use a wide tooth comb to comb hair.
Cover hair with a satin bonnet.
For wave pattern: You can loosely braid or twist the hair to preserve the wave pattern.
For looser wave patterns(loose wave & body wave)make larger braids...For tighter wave pattern(deep wave) make smaller braids. Be sure to include all of your hair for wave pattern consistency.
